| Jose Antonio Conejo Vida, CHAPARRO DE MALAGA, has been making music from a young age. He learned the guitar from the best professionals. He has received important awards. In 1993 he teamed up with Jose Manuel Ruiz Rosas, EL CHINO. Together they collaborated in a number of recordings and toured the Iberian Peninsula. They were very successful and enhanced their performing skills and knowledge about the Flamenco world. He has worked professionally for 15 years and has accompanied famous figures of Andalusian folk song such as: EL CHINO DE MALAGA, REMEDIOS AMAYA, JOSE PARRA, NIÑA PASTORI, CANCANILLA DE MALAGA, DUQUENDE, MIGUEL POVEDA among many other. He is considered one of the most important guitarists thanks to his sensitivity, presence and virtuosity. He has exhibited his artistic qualities all over the world and hasreleased discs of great merit. He is a self-taught and a big fan of Andalusian folk song. The way he links up with the Flamenco singer and his interpretation of the songs make him animportant guitarist.
